Third Grade

Why did I become a teacher?

There are two reasons, first it’s been my childhood dream. The second is that I had many great teachers in my life. I wouldn’t be who I am without their influence. Becoming a teacher is a way for me try to give something back.

What is my favorite quote? Why? Who said it?

“Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” said by President Kennedy. It reminds me to focus on what value I could bring to others, instead of thinking of “me me me”.

What is my favorite memory from elementary school?

I twisted my ankle once during a basketball game and remember that I refused to sit down – because I was worried that we would then lose. I played on and we managed to win!

If you could pass on any wisdom to your students, what would you share?

Keep your dream alive, work hard and never give up!
