Rodeo Day!
March 7
It’s Rodeo season, and Rodeo Day is coming back to Sinclair on Friday, March 7! If you’re new to Sinclair, Rodeo Day* is an annual event put on by coach Vogler and our 5th graders. Each grade level will have a chance to head to the Sinclair fields for some calf scrambling, bull riding, and roping fun! Students are welcome to dress up in rodeo gear (no weapons) but please remember Rodeo Day is a field day of sorts so please make sure your student has a water bottle as they will likely get hot.
This year we will be going back to our roots and bringing back food sales. Details on food presale and volunteer opportunities will be shared soon.
*No animals are involved in Rodeo Day. For the calf scramble, our 5th graders are dressed as cows and are chased by younger students hoping to pull their tails off. Our bull is a barrel that bounces courtesy of our older students and our cow chips are painted foam. It’s a fun Sinclair rite of passage that many of our 5th graders look forward to taking part in.
